LABORATORY SERVICES
Our laboratory is an important part of our wellness, diagnostic, and maintenence programs. We have in-house lab, and more extensive lab support through Interpath Laboratories, Washington Animal Disease Diagnostic Lab, and others. Rest assured your pet will be well taken care of. Common laboratory tests include:

• CBC
• Blood Chemistry
• Cytology
• Urinalysis
• Intestinal Parasite Testing
• Specified Disease or Condition Testing.

SPECIALIZED EQUIPMENT
Specialized equipment is integral to providing quality medical care. We make sure our equipment is functioning properly and well maintained. Essential equipment includes:

• Intravenous Fluid Pumps
• X-Ray machines for a look under the skin
• Blood Chemistry Machine: to analyize blood
• Ultrasound Machine: for a look at inner organs
• Pulse Oximeters, to ensure safe anesthesia
• Otoscope: to examine the inner ear
• Direct Ophthalmascope: for extensive eye exams
• Ophthalmic Tonometer: to determine pressure inside of the eye
• Blood Pressure Machine to check for hypertension

SURGICAL SERVICES
Our veterinarians are well trained in surgical procedures. In fact, between them they have over 80 years of surgical experience! We value continuing education highly in our clinics, and our veterinarians attend annual conferences to keep up on the latest trends in veterinary medicine. If a procedure is beyond our capability, or needs special diagnostic procedures such as CT scanning or MRI, we quickly refer your animal to a network of specialists including the W.S.U. Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Pullman, Washington. Our surgery rooms are completely equipped with an extensive array of surgical instruments, monitoring equipment, anesthesia machines, heated pads, sterilization equipment, cautery units, and a wide variety of suture material. Surgical procedures include:

• Ovariohysterectomy ("spay")
• Orchidectomy ("neuter")
• Dental Cleanings, Routine Dentistry, & Oral Surgery
• Ophthalmic surgery
• Soft tissue surgery
• Orthopedic surgery
